Week 1

Accompaniment: amplifying the voice of Jesus in our story (30 minutes):  

• Open in prayer and invite the Holy Spirit to lead and guide the conversation.  

• Listen to each other — Recall the parable of the sower. Where is the seed of the kingdom landing in your heart?

• Take turns briefly praying for each person after they share, so that everyone in the group gets prayed for, and everyone in the group prays. 

Alignment: recalibrating to the reign of Jesus (30 minutes):  

• Listen to video for Week #1.

• Discuss: Do you feel invited by God to participate in His Kingdom in an important way? If so, how is that expressed in your daily life? If not, how might that change for you?

Agreement: covenanting to follow Jesus together (15 minutes)

• Agree together on when to meet the following week

• For next week, spend some time praying and reflecting on your name. What name might the Lord give you in the age to come?

• Close in agreeing prayer in Jesus’ name for one another.
