Week 3

Kingdom Citizenship 1 — Narrative

Accompaniment: amplifying the voice of Jesus in our story (30 minutes):  

• Open in prayer and invite the Holy Spirit to lead and guide the conversation

• Listen to each other — Where I go to find my worth and meaning apart from Jesus?

• Take turns briefly praying for God’s healing for one another

Alignment: recalibrating to the reign of Jesus (30 minutes):  

• Listen to video for week #3 (The extra is for on your own)

• Discuss: What are the various narratives you encounter in your place of work, family, culture, or faith community? What are the impact of these narratives on human flourishing?

Agreement: covenanting to walk in the story of Jesus together (15 minutes)

• Agree together on when to meet the following week

• Check out the optional video below.

• Look ahead into weeks 4-7 and discuss how to prepare for the “Hot Seat”. Decide what dates each of you will take your turn. Ideally each person should have their own meeting. Plan for at least 1 hour. You might consider taking a weekend away to hear everyones story.

• Close in agreeing prayer in Jesus’ name.
